All I hold is my games, my homeworks and my main.cpp files. Also, I know an AV won't keep me completely secure, but I'm asking you: who do you think will want to gain access to my PC so badly? I'm not the Gov, I'm not anyone important, I don't hold any illegal data, I don't hold any data that could be of public interest actually. I don't rely on Windows Security by any means and I never did. It's my choice and I'm fully aware of the "big" security risks, as I use Windows Defender and not a 3rd party AV, Anti-Spyware, Firewall called ESET Internet Security. I gain my customization power by going back to 1607 from 1809. I can handle 1607 and make it the way I like it, but they removed the power I had in 1607. I don't want to spend money on SSDs for the OS to be fast because if I don't install 3rd party apps I can't customize my OS experience (graphical and Telemetrical). Look, I like my OS to look the way I want and be snappy. When a program I need will request me to go to a newer build, that's when I'll go, if Microsoft can't make a good update until that time comes. Asphalt 9 runs fine on 1607, so that's where I'm staying.
And nowhere does it say I need a certain build of Windows 10 to run anything. So what if it's "Out of Updates"? I didn't upgrade to Windows 10 to get updates from Windows Update without my permission, I went here because of the better Microsoft Store support. When Microsoft can push an update to fulfill security and customization (without any 3rd party software) then I'll update. I think I've been nice and didn't call anyone names.
